Curriculum Introduction

The Academic program culminates with the NSW School Certificate in Year 10 and the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) in Year 12. Subject selections are built around the Board of Studies requirements.

Preparatory School

Pre-Kindergarten to Year 4

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergaten (Module K)
Years 1 and 2 (Module L)
Years 3 and 4 (Module M)

- Computing Skills
- Human Society and its Environment
- Personal Development, Health and Physical Education
- Creative Arts
  - Visual Arts
  - Music
- Sport (Modules L and M)
- French (Module M)

Middle School

Years 5 and 6 (Module O)

There is a core curriculum
- English
- Mathematics
- Science and Technology
- Computing Skill
- Human Society and its Environment
- Personal Development, Health and Physical Education
- Creative Arts
  - Visual Arts
  - Music
- Sport
- German
- Doctrine

Years 7 and 8 (Module 1)

There is a core curriculum.
- The Languages other than English elective:
  students may choose either German or French as per the
  Subject Selection Form for 2010, Module 1: Years 7 & 8

Senior School

Years 9 & 10 (Module 2)

There is a core curriculum.
- Students may study stage 5.1, 5.2 or 5.3 Mathematics.
- Students choose to enrol in electives as per the
  Subject Selection Form for 2010, Module 2: Years 9 & 10

Preliminary (Year 11)

There is a core curriculum, with choices of courses to be studied in:
- English
- Mathematics
- History
Students choose to enrol in electives as per the
Subject Selection Form for 2010, Module 3: Preliminary
A minimum of twelve units must be chosen.

HSC (Year 12)

There is a core curriculum, with choices of courses to be studied in:
- English
- Mathematics
- History
Students choose to enrol in electives as per the
Subject Selection Form for 2010, Module 4: HSC
A minimum of ten units must be chosen.
