Redeemer Baptist School is a NESA regulated school, a charitable entity under the ACNC, and a recipient of recurrent student funding as it meets the requirements of the NSW and Federal Governments.
In these ways, we are like any non-government school in Australia and have been operating consistently and in full compliance for 45 years.
Beyond that, Redeemer Baptist School is a somewhat unique educational environment.
The School was established, and continues to be staffed, by an intentional Christian community - a protestant religious order comprising individuals and families who volunteer their services in Church Ministries including the School. As staff, our choice to serve students and their families in the school voluntarily follows on from an overflow of the love of God in Jesus Christ experienced by us. Individuals and families who believe that God is calling them to this Church Ministry are welcome to join.
The many achievements of our students speak for themselves with excellence in NAPLAN and HSC results, capping the outstanding array of academic, sporting and artistic recognition gained by Redeemer students.
However, Redeemer it is not just about the high achieving students - as volunteers, we explore ways for students with different learning, social, circumstantial or behavioural challenges to find a fresh start towards achieving success at school as a means of creating a pathway for a good life. This includes programs incorporated in the school curriculum and also additional support offered on rare occasions from families in the Redeemer Baptist Church community.
In addition, Redeemer Year 10 students lead the school community in an annual charitable project to benefit regional and remote Indigenous communities with infrastructure and friendship.
Every day, Redeemer staff are committed to providing excellence with a Christian worldview in education for all current and future students. All are welcome to come and see what can be achieved by a community that stands together in unity.
